The sleuths belonging to Crime Investigation Agency, Zira, nabbed four drug peddlers and seized 22.29 kg heroin, besides Rs 2.5 lakh drug money, two pistols, two magazines and four cartridges from them.

DIG Snehdeep Sharma said they laid a naka near Dulchi Ke village and arrested Jagjeet Singh, alias Jagga of Arniwala village in Fazilka, Malook Singh of Gandhu Kilcha village and Kirandeep Singh, alias Deep. He said they seized 2.71 kg heroin, four mobiles, two pistols, two magazines, four live rounds from them and impounded their car. “Later the police recovered, another 19.54 kg more heroin and Rs 2.5 lakh drug money recovered from the shop of the fourth accused Partap Singh of Kilche village,” said the DIG.
