3 Barnala youths killed as motorcycle collides with tractor-trolley on Raikot-Mullanpur highway

Three youths of Gehlan village in Barnala district succumbed to injuries after the motorcycle they were travelling on collided with a tractor‑trolley at Boparai Kalan on the Raikot-Mullanpur highway late Saturday evening.
One of the victims, Parvinder Singh, succumbed to his injuries while lying in a field near the accident site, while the other two — identified as Amritpal Singh and Akashdeep Singh — died during treatment at a multispecialty hospital in Ludhiana on Sunday morning.

Sudhar SHO Gurdip Singh said a case under Sections 304A, 279 and 427 of the IPC has been registered against the tractor driver, Satnam Singh of Khadoor village.
The victims were identified on the basis of a UID found in Parvinder Singh’s pocket. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post‑mortem to Civil Hospital Ludhiana.
