Sources privy to the rapprochement between the two leaders said discussions were held on a host of political issues, including on the farmers' agitation.
The meeting could soon see the re-induction of Sidhu into the state cabinet in the coming days. There could be a possible reshuffle of departments soon after Sidhu’s induction.
In the past, the two leaders had been cold-shouldering each other before rapprochement efforts between the two gained steam due to the intervention of Punjab affairs in-charge Harish Rawat.
