The MLA arrived at the factory amid an ongoing agitation by employees, joined by farmers, who have been protesting against the management over issues related to their salaries and working conditions. The protesters had earlier staged demonstrations and announced an intensified protest for today.

According to eyewitnesses, Jagsir entered the factory premises and went directly to meet the management. As he came out, demonstrators raised slogans against him, expressing anger over what they perceived as lack of support or delayed action.

Talking to the media, he said, “I had come in support of the protesting employees. I went to meet the management, but no one was there. I am not running away from here.”
