ADGP Varinder Kumar has been posted as Director, Bureau of Investigation, while ADGP AS Rai will be the new Punjab Police Intelligence chief in a major reshuffle of 50 officers that included 14 SSPs.
The new SSPs and their place of posting are: Harcharan Singh Bhullar, Patiala; Sandeep Garg, Mansa; Rakesh Kaushal, Amritsar (Rural); Varun Sharma, Faridkot; Harmandeep Singh Hans, Ferozepur; Kanwardeep Kaur, Nawanshahr; Alka Meena, Barnala; Ravjot Grewal Malerkotla; Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, Batala; Surinderjit Singh Mand, Moga; Sarbjit Singh, Muktsar; Harwinder Singh Virk, Tarn Taran; Rajbachan Singh Sandhu, Ludhiana (Rural); and Kulwant Singh Heer, Hoshiarpur.
ADGP Jatinder Jain will head Powercom. Patiala. and ADGP Arpit Shukla Punjab Police Welfare Wing. V Neerja is ADGP, NRI; Mohinsh Chawla IG, Border range; SPS Parmar IG, Ludhiana range; Mukhwinder Singh Chhina, IG, Patiala range; Shive Kumar Verma IG, Law and Order; and Rakesh Aggarwal IG, counter Intelligence. — TNS
