Akali Dal leader joins Congress

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Akali Dal leader Balwinder Kaur (pic), member, Block Samiti, Bassi Pathana, on Monday joined the Congress along with her supporters in the presence of Gurpreet Singh GP, MLA, and Subhash Sood, president, District Congress Committee. The Bassi Pathana MLA welcomed her into the party fold and assured her that she would be given due respect in the party. Balwinder Kaur said she was upset with the SAD due to inaction into Behbal Kalan and Bargari police firing incidents. OC
