Preparations were in full-swing for the “bandh” in these states, said Bhangu.

The agitation, which started from Punjab, had spread all over India and now it had become a people’s movement, he said. Farmers were determined to continue their struggle until the three anti-farmers’ laws were repealed, he said.

On March 26, road and rail traffic, as well as the markets would remain closed. Even the government offices would observe complete “bandh” from 9 am to 6 pm, but essential services would be exempted, he said.
