Several youths carrying sharp-edged weapons attacked around five persons during a marriage ceremony on Thursday at Arorvansh Dharamshala in Abohar.

Seeing things getting going out of control, the bride and groom had to lock themselves in a room. Police personnel arrived at the spot after half an hour and arrested four persons.

According to information, as the couple was about to leave the marriage venue, armed misvreants entered the premises and attacked those present on the spot.

They also broke the windows of the room to attack the newly wed couple.

Cops said they were interrogating those nabbed from the spot to unravel the truth behind the attack.
