Baghel convenes meeting of Punjab Congress political affairs committee

Punjab affairs in-charge and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has called a meeting of the political affairs committee of Punjab Congress in Delhi on Thursday.

A senior party leader said that, while the meeting is part of a series organised by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for different states, the primary aim will be to gather insights from senior state leaders on pressing issues in Punjab.

The political affairs committee, established in 2023, comprises several key leaders from the Punjab Congress.

Apart from Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Partap Singh Bajwa, the committee includes Ambika Soni, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Vijay Inder Singla, Gurkirat Singh, Tajinder Singh Bittu, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Charanjit Singh Channi, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Rana Kanwarpal Singh, Pargat Singh, Kuljit Singh Nagra, Rana Gurjit Singh, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhwinder Singh Danny, Gurjit Singh Aujla, Amar Singh, Mohd Sadique, Pawan Adia, OP Soni, Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Rakesh Pandey, Razia Sultana, Sangat Singh Gilzian, and Capt Sandeep Sandhu.
