The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across the district on Sunday. A large number of devotees visited Darbar Sahib, Tarn Taran, from early morning till late night.

Darbar Sahib manager Dharwinder Singh Manochahal said a colourful ‘nagar kirtan’ was taken out in the ‘parikarma’ of the holy sarovar of Darbar Sahib. The devotees in a large number took part in the ‘nagar kirtan’.The day was also celebrated in other parts of the district and gurdwaras.
