Amritsar, August 25

Former Vidhan Sabha Speaker and SAD leader Nirmal Singh Kahlon alleged that Cabinet minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa had met Sikh for Justice (SFJ) leaders Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and Avtar Singh Pannu in London during his visit from August 5 to 7.

Avtar Singh Pannu is the coordinator of the SFJ in the US. His brother Balwinder Singh Pannu is a close associate of Rural and Urban Development Minister Bajwa, said Kahlon in a press conference here on Saturday. Kahlon alleged that Bajwa had helped in generating funds for the ongoing Bargari protests though Gurpatwant Pannu and Avtar Pannu.

The former Speaker showed pictures of Balwinder Pannu and minister Bajwa with other senior Congress leaders. “The objective is to create unrest. The minister is hand in glove with people trying to create mischief,” he said. — TNS
