Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal announced former MP Balwinder Singh Bhunder will be the “Super CM” if the party wins in 2027. Speaking at the Punjab Bachao rally, Sukhbir praised Bhunder’s loyalty during tough times.

Badal said Bhunder supported SAD when many senior leaders left. “Bhunder sahib will announce development works here. No one else supported me like him at a time when the state and central governments tried to finish the party of the Sikh Panth. He supported me and my father during tough times,” he said.

MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal urged voters to elect Dilraj Singh Bhunder, Balwinder’s son, as MLA.

Sukhbir promised SAD will develop all 13,000 villages by laying concrete streets and sewerage systems, cleaning ponds, and building ‘pucca’ houses for villagers without homes if they win 2027 election. He warned against the Aam Aadmi Party’s alleged move to sell government properties, calling it a plow to lure voters with Rs 1,000 to women before election.
