BJP leader joins Cong over laws



Fazilka, January 13

BJP leader and former vice-president of the local municipal council Jagdish Biswal and his supporters quit the party today.

Biswal said he quit the BJP due to the agriculture laws and its anti-farmer policies. Former councillor from ward number 16, Biswal joined the Congress in the presence of Fazilka MLA Davinder Singh Ghubaya, Block Congress Committee president Surinder Kalra and Improvement Trust Chairman Ashwani Neetu Sethi. — OC
