Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal today alleged that Congress minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has placed his friendship with Pakistan PM Imran Khan above the interests of the nation.
In city for the wedding of party MLA Baljinder Kaur, Kejriwal condemned Sidhu’s comments over Pulwama terror attack. He said, “At a time when the whole nation was mourning the death of over 40 soldiers and demanding a stern action against Pakistan, Sidhu gave a statement that hurt the sentiments of all citizens.”
Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann said a foreign policy needed to be framed to isolate Pakistan at the world level. “We had appreciated Sidhu for his efforts towards Kartarpur corridor, but how could we justify Pakistan’s designs towards India,” he said.
SAD chief Sukhbir Badal, secretary Bikram Majithia, PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar and others attended the wedding.
