Chandigarh: CLP leader Partap Singh Bajwa on Sunday accused CM Bhagwant Mann of discarding the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in favour of mohalla clinics. They have deprived general public of cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per family, he said. The mohalla clinics can never compete with facilities provided at super-specialty hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, he said. tns
1 dead in roof collapse
Muktsar: Jagdish Kumar (45), alias Neela Kubba, a shopkeeper died, while two others (Ramesh Kumar, a customer, and a labourer) suffered injuries as the roof of his shop collapsed on Saturday. The police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC.
