The CM said all jobs were given purely on merit, without recommendation or political influence. Addressing the new recruits, Mann said while 93 examination papers had been leaked across the country since 2017, Punjab did not witness a single such incident since the AAP government took over in 2022. The CM announced that around 65,000 contractual employees would get regularised as the government moved to end the contractor-based employment system.
