Amritsar, February 11
The SGPC has arranged a Covid-19 test camp for pilgrims who aspire to visit Pakistan for the centenary event of Saka Nankana Sahib.
A jatha will leave on February 18 to mark the event on February 21. The details of pilgrims have been sent to the Pakistan embassy in this regard. The Pakistan embassy has made Covid test mandatory for visitors, 72 hours before they cross over at the Attari-Wagah border.
The SGPC has asked all those who have submitted their passports to undergo testing. SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said a camp for Covid-19 testing was being held on February 15 and 16 at the SGPC office in Amritsar. Pilgrims could even get the tests done on their own. — TNS
