Chandigarh, June 14
Punjab's case fatality rate (CFR), which is already highest in the country, has increased further. With 486 deaths and 8,343 cases, the state's CFR for the last week remained around 6 per cent, while the overall rate is 2.6 per cent.
Similarly, the weekly mortality rate in Haryana has risen to nearly 8 per cent. The state reported 280 deaths and 3,570 cases in the past seven days. — TNS
