The Senior Citizens’ Welfare Council, Hoshiarpur, organised a meeting at Basant Vihar under the leadership of council president Brigadier Surjit Singh (retired) and Harbans Singh Kamal.

The meeting aimed to raise awareness about ‘Heavenly Palace Senior Citizen Home’, in Doraha. The senior citizen home, spread across 14 acres, offers five-star facilities.

Assistant general manager Varinder said Heavenly Palace was operated by the Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust, established by Indian-American entrepreneur Anil Monga.

He highlighted the Trust’s initiative ‘Heavenly Angels’ to provide education, sports and exceptional facilities to orphans. Under the ‘Brahm Bhoj’ project, the Trust provides nutritious meals daily to thousands of needy individuals.
