Ex-MLA Mrar joins Congress

MUKTSAR: Former MLA from Muktsar Sukhdarshan Singh Mrar, who is also a SGPC member, joined the Congress a few days ago in the presence of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and PCC chief Sunil Kumar Jakhar.

Former MLA from Muktsar Sukhdarshan Singh Mrar, who is also a SGPC member, joined the Congress a few days ago in the presence of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and PCC chief Sunil Kumar Jakhar.

His family, however, made it public today, a day before former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar is joining the SAD. Mrar’s grandson had contested the panchayat samiti elections last year on the Congress ticket and won. Though Mrar could not be contacted today, his son confirmed that his father had joined the Congress.
