The District Bar Association has extended support to the bereaved family and announced suspension of work on Thursday. It has also appealed to the Bar Associations of Talwandi Sabo and Rampura Phul to join in solidarity.

Bathinda District Bar Association president Advocate Gurwinder Singh Mann said, “The deceased was a member of the association and a legal team will be formed to pursue the case. Members of the Bar will not represent the accused. We will participate in the Maur gathering on Thursday.”
