Terming Aam Aadmi Party as the “B team” of the BJP, leaders of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha today announced their decision to gherao the residence of CM Bhagwant Mann here on December 1.

They also announced to burn effigies of the CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal across the country. Both decisions were taken at a meeting held at the Khanauri border on Thursday.

BKU (Sidhupur) general secretary Kaka Singh Kotra said the decision to gherao the CM’s residence was aimed at conveying that he was playing the role of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s friend by detaining their leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal.

Kotra said AAP was acting as the BJP’s “B team” since the Centre was instrumental in the release of Arvind Kejriwal from the jail during the Haryana Assembly elections. He said 12 demands of the agitating farmers had already been accepted by the Centre, but not implemented so far. The protest would continue till the acceptance and implementation of the farmers’ demands by the Centre, he said.

Farm leader Inderjit Singh Kot Budha said by becoming the BJP’s “B team”, Mann had stabbed the farmers in the back. He said the state government had detained Dallewal, acting as a pro-BJP force. Despite detention, Dallewal would continue his indefinite fast till the implementation of their 12 demands, he added.
