Abohar, July 12

A massive fire broke out in a scrap warehouse near Sito Gunno road in Abohar early this morning due to which a huge stock was burnt to ashes. The fire brigade team that reached the spot brought the fire under control. Witnesses said the fire was so fierce that the walls of a nearby hotel also suffered damage.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
