The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF), in collaboration with the Batala police, apprehended a member of gangster Jaggu Bhawanpuria gang on Wednesday. He was identified as Gurlove Singh, alias Love Randhawa, of Batala city.

Two pistols, three magazines and 16 live cartridges were seized from his possession. An officer said he was acting on the instructions of foreign-based gangster Amrit Dalam. He has several cases registered against him, particularly those related to the Arms Act, housebreaking and theft. A fresh FIR has been registered at the Civil Lines police station.
