Rs1.58 cr for water supply in Amloh

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 14

The Gas Authority of India (GAIL) has released Rs 1.58 crore for upgrading water supply in Amloh block of this district.

Deputy Commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha said the state government had linked all 440 villages of the district with drinking water supply schemes. A sum of around Rs 4.12 crore would be spent on improving water supply in 10 villages. Over the past three years, Rs 12.72 crore had been spent on providing clean drinking water and sewerage facilities.
