Governor Kataria meets Union ministers, urges Centre-State synergy for Punjab’s progress

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria met Union ministers in Delhi, pushing for faster execution of developmental projects in Punjab and Chandigarh. He met Nitin Gadkari, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, discussing infrastructure, urban planning, and public welfare.
Kataria emphasised sustainable development, improved amenities, and timely project implementation. With Gadkari, he discussed expanding road networks to boost Punjab’s business and tourism. With Khattar, he reviewed urban development projects. With Shekhawat, he raised concerns over depleting groundwater and sought restoration projects.
Kataria urged ministers to ensure faster project execution and Centre-State synergy to meet people’s aspirations. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu and MP Satnam Singh Sandhu accompanied him. The meetings followed his discussion with Amit Shah on strategic Punjab issues and Sikh community matters.
