Following the incident, Arora spoke to Kalia over the phone, inquired about his well-being and gathered detailed information about the incident. In a statement, Arora said the act was the result of the frustration among certain anti-social elements due to the continuous action being taken by the Punjab Government against drug mafia and gangsters. He said these individuals committed this cowardly act, but they would not be spared.
