Chandigarh: The Director General, Income Tax (Investigation), has set up a control room to receive complaints regarding undue influence of voters by means of money and materials.



Chandigarh: The Director General, Income Tax (Investigation), has set up a control room to receive complaints regarding undue influence of voters by means of money and materials. Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the office of CEO said people would be able to register complaints on toll-free number 18001804814 regarding anyone carrying huge sums of money in cash. This helpline would be active 24X7 and would remain operational during the period of model code of conduct. The CEO has requested the people not to carry cash more than Rs 50,000 or valuables during travel without proper documents. tns
