Hoshiarpur, April 2

Harvinder Singh, a resident of Painsra village in Garhshankar subdivision, has tested coronavirus positive.

He was brought to the isolation ward at Hoshiarpur Civil Hospital, from where, owing to his serious condition, he was referred to Government Medical College Amritsar.

District epidemiologist Dr Sailesh confirmed that he is the sixth corona positive patient from Hoshiarpur district besides the one who had come from Italy and was admitted to Government Medical College Amritsar after landing at the Amritsar airport. That mn has since recovered.
