In Mumbai, Punjabis celebrate Lohri with stars

Mumbai’s Punjabi community is celebrating Lohri with utmost enthusiasm. One of the events was organised by the Punjab Cultural and Heritage Board at DN Nagar in the suburb of Andheri which saw some celebrities from Bollywood and TV industry in attendance.

Mumbai’s Punjabi community is celebrating Lohri with utmost enthusiasm. One of the events was organised by the Punjab Cultural and Heritage Board at DN Nagar in the suburb of Andheri which saw some celebrities from Bollywood and TV industry in attendance.

Among the celebrities who came included veteran actor Jitendra who was followed by Sonu Sood, Ayushman Khurana, Parmeet Sethi, Bonnie Kapoor and Subhash Ghai.

The festival was marked by lighting of a bonfire and singing of traditional songs by Punjabi folk singers like Dolly Sidhu and Roop Sidhu.
