JeM ‘threatens’ to blow up rly stations

FAZILKA: Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has allegedly threatened to blow up Ferozepur, Faridkot, Barnala, Amritsar and Jalandhar railway stations on May 13 to take revenge of their killed jehadis (militants).

Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has allegedly threatened to blow up Ferozepur, Faridkot, Barnala, Amritsar and Jalandhar railway stations on May 13 to take revenge of their killed jehadis (militants).

In a letter addressed to Vivek Kumar, Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur Division, written in Hindi (the copy of which is with The Tribune), the Jaish-e-Mohammed also threatened to blast Rajasthan’s railway stations, bus stands and military bases of Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Sriganganagar on May 13. The sender of the letter has mentioned his address as Jaish-e-Mohammed, Mamsoor Ahmed, Area Commander, Jammu-Kashmir (Sindh), Pakistan.

When contacted, DRM Vivek Kumar admitted to receiving the letter on Monday evening. He said necessary instructions were issued to the security forces. — OC
