Sangrur, April 5
As their father, grandfather and uncles are protesting against the farm laws on Delhi borders, many teenagers are keeping the stir alive back home. “I have been coming here regularly as my schools are closed. My family has not missed a single day of the protest,” said Gulneet Kaur (14) while sitting on the Badbar toll plaza.
Another teenager Sabinder Singh (15) said his father had been busy in the protest since its beginning while his other family members had also been participating in the agitations.
“I know the farm laws are against us and will kill farming. My son keeps sharing latest updates with me after getting information from his phone. Our kids are making the best use of technology,” said Gurpal Kaur, a woman protesting in Barnala. — TNS
