The Kabarwala police have registered a case against a man after his wife and two-year-old daughter died when the car they were travelling in plunged into a canal near Alamwala village here last night.
The police action followed a complaint lodged by the deceased woman Simran Kaur’s father Barjinder Singh of Sirsa district in Haryana, who alleged that his son-in-law, Sahilpreet Singh Khera of Jandwala Bhimeshah village in Fazilka district was responsible for the deaths.
