Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial work to finish by year-end

Chandigarh: Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs Charanjit Singh Channi said a tender worth Rs 12 crore had been floated to complete the work of the Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial at Anandpur Sahib by the end of the year. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
