Reiterating the state’s proactive approach, CM Mann said the Punjab administration is in continuous touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and other concerned authorities at the Centre to ensure the prompt and secure evacuation of all stranded Punjabis.

He also urged the Government of India to take immediate and decisive steps for the safe evacuation of Indian nationals, particularly those from Punjab, who are trapped in the war-affected areas of the Middle East.

“The Union Government must intervene swiftly to bring our people back home safely. Punjab will extend full cooperation in every possible manner to make this happen,” he added.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Centre would act expeditiously to extend a helping hand to all citizens caught in the crisis, ensuring their well-being and early return to their families.
