Sunam AAP MLA Aman Arora found all policemen, except one, missing from duty in various parts of the city last night and asked residents to form joint groups for patrolling to control crime in the city.

Addressing the media at Sunam at his office today, Arora said for the last few days, he was getting reports of frequent thefts in the city but the local police was unmoved by the incidents resulting in increase of such crimes.

“Last night, I conducted a reality check post midnight and was shocked to see that of 25-30 assigned policemen, there was just one on duty. It has proved that cops leave the city open for thieves in the night,” he alleged. Arora gave a call to locals to form special groups to conduct night patrolling to control crime and promised full help.
