MPs, MLAs close to Amarinder meet ahead of CLP meet to decide future course of action

Sources say that in early speculation the names of Jakhar, Bittu, Partap Bajwa have cropped up as probable CM replacements

MLAs and MPs close to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh met ahead of the CLP meeting with several ministers expressing regret at the “way the CM is being humiliated”.

“This is certainly not the way. This constant refrain that the CM didn’t deliver makes no sense because the delivery of party manifesto promises is the collective work of the cabinet,” said a Punjab Congress leader.

Among those at the meeting included senior-most minister in Punjab cabinet Brahm Mohindra, ministers Rana Sodhi, Vijayinder Singla and Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Khadoor Saheb MLA Ramanjit Singh Sikki, Baba Bakala MLA SS Bhlaipur, Raj Kumar Chabbewal, MLA Fateh Jung Bajwa, MLA Tarsem DC, Yoginder Pal, Rakesh Pandey, Ajaib Singh Bhatti, HS Ajnala and Rajinder Singh.
