Bathinda, July 12

After coming out from jail on bail, former Health Minister and Mansa MLA Dr Vijay Singla today addressed a gathering of his supporters and party workers. Challenging everyone, Singla said: “If anyone proves the allegation of a single rupee taken or demanded by me or any of my family members, I will accept my mistake. Time will tell everything and it will all come to light soon.”

Addressing the people here for the first time since his release on bail, Singla said he would forever be indebted for the honour bestowed on him by the people of Mansa and the Punjab Government.

Dr Singla said he would continue to work for the construction of medical colleges, new roads and hospitals in Mansa during his tenure.

He said he had not done anything wrong during his tenure as a minister and people knew that he and his family had been involved in public service and social service for 30 years. “There is no question of money transactions,” he said.
