An elderly man from Pakistan on Tuesday “inadvertently” entered Sriganganagar sector. BSF personnel took him into custody. After six hours of questioning and a flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers, the man was handed back to them.

The BSF didn’t find anything suspicious from Manzoor (70), a resident of Bahawalnagar district of Punjab province. — OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
