Parkash Purb: Holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Amritsar on Nov 9

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Government on Friday declared a holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar districts on November 9, 2019 in connection with the celebrations of the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak.

Chandigarh, November 8

Punjab Government on Friday declared a holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar districts on November 9, 2019 in connection with the celebrations of the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak.

An official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that all the offices of Punjab Government, Boards, Corporations and Educational Institutions in these districts would remain closed on the auspicious occasion.

A notification has been issued by the Personnel Department, Punjab in this regard.
