CHANDIGARH: Punjab MLAs will get Rs 5 crore development fund in two phases ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. This was announced in the MLAs’ pre-Budget meeting with the CM.

Punjab MLAs will get Rs 5 crore development fund in two phases ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

This was announced in the MLAs’ pre-Budget meeting with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh here on Wednesday.

Each of the legislators was asked to give details of their development works.

Wednesday’s meeting was with the MLAs from Majha region. Similar meetings are planned over the next three days.
