Chandigarh, October 15

The Punjab government has decided not to open multiplexes, cinema halls and entertainment parks in the state yet.

However, staging of Ramlila will be allowed with strict Covid protocol.

Details will be announced after Covid review meeting by the CM.

This was announced in a tweet by the CM’s media adviser.

The Punjab government has allowed schools to reopen. However, the date of reopening will be announced after the Standard Operating Procedures are announced.

The Centre has allowed cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes to reopen with up to 50 per cent seating capacity across the country from October 15 in areas outside the containment zones.
