Singer Ammy Virk stated, that "he is an actor and singer, later; firstly he is a son of a farmer". He continued that in the year 2011-12 when he recorded his first album, his father had arranged Rs 5 lakh for him. Rs. 2 lakh was arranged by selling their car, Zen, and Rs. 3 lakh he took from a commission agent. Later, when the crop was sold, the loan was repaid, and his dream was fulfilled. So, these bills will break many dreams. He appealed to jointly protest against these bills.

Gurdas Mann also tweeted his support.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Sunny Deol's close aide, and actor Deep Sindhu reached the farmers protest outside the Deputy Commissioner office in Bathinda on Friday evening. He announced his support for the farmers against these three anti farmers’ bills.
