SAD, BJP leaders join Punjab Governor's anti-drugs foot march in Ferozepur

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal and BJP working president Ashwani Sharma, along with Dera Beas head Gurinder Dhillon, on Tuesday joined Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria's foot march against drugs in Ferozepur.
Since this is the first time the BJP and SAD leaders have come together on a platform, speculation over a re-alliance between the two parties has gained momentum.
The key participant is Dera Beas head Gurinder Singh Dhillon, who had recently visited SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia in Nabha Jail.
Adding a certain degree of credibility to the speculation about the possible political realignment between SAD and the saffron party, the presence of Dhillon, besides Ashwani Sharma Badal, who all attended the Governor's rally, has created a buzz in political circles.
While the Dera Beas head and Sharma flanked the Governor during the entire stretch of the 'padyatra', Badal joined the event at the end of the programme, and didn't come face to face with Sharma.
