Muktsar: The police have booked Akali leader Dinesh Garg Tony, his brother Ashu, his wife Amita and two others for allegedly thrashing a resident on Sunday. Mangal Sain told the police that Gurjeet Singh and his son thrashed him. Later, Tony, along with his brother and wife tried to kill him, he claimed. A case under various sections of the IPC and the Arms Act has been registered against the suspects. TNS

Chandigarh: CM Bhagwant Mann on Monday nominated three women MLAs as ex-officio members of State Assisted Reproductive Technology and Surrogacy Board.
