SAD mocks Sidhu’s separate billboards

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s hoardings have come up alongside those of Capt Amarinder Singh’s in Abohar.

Abohar, June 12

A hoarding of Navjot Singh Sidhu put up near another Congress hoarding carrying the picture of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has raised eyebrows in PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar’s hometown Abohar.

Rajinder Deepa, an SAD ticket aspirant from the constituency, said the Akalis had formed a poll alliance with the BSP, further enhancing their chances to win the 2022 election and by putting up such hoardings of Sidhu and sidelining the ones with the Chief Minister’s photo, the Congress leaders had confirmed that they were a divided house and the patch-up exercise had completely failed. The situation suited the Akali Dal, he claimed. — OC
