Members of the Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara Committee, Panthic Organisations and Nihang Singhs carried out the ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar march’ to pay tributes to 13 Sikhs, who lost their lives in the 1978 clash, here today.

They commenced the march from Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Sahib, where the Nirankari Saka had taken place in 1978, and concluded at the Akal Takht, inside the Golden Temple complex.

Prof Baljinder Singh of the Hawara Committee said the community neither got justice in the Nirankari Saka nor in the 1986 Nakodar Kand or the Behbal Kalan case.
