Gurpreet Singh Toor, SSP, has constituted a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the allegations of false implication of local resident Parminder Singh in a case under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act, registered on March 31.
The police had arrested Parminder Singh, along with Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha and Rajwinder Singh alias Raju, both natives of Zira subdivision in Ferozepur district, and recovered 490 gm of intoxicating powder and two revolvers from them. They are presently in judicial custody.
