The Special Investigation Team probing the Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura police firing will question SAD president and former Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal in Chandigarh on Monday.
Sukhbir will be questioned in the conference room of the Punjab Police headquarters at Sector 9 in Chandigarh at 2.30 pm.
The police have agreed to the Akali demand of questioning Sukhbir in Chandigarh instead of Amritsar. A police official has confirmed this.
The grenade attack incident in Amritsar and the heavy presence of media the at the questioning of former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has also led police to chose the Police HQs in Chandigarh as the venue.
