Transfer orders of teachers cancelled

Bathinda, April 7

Acting on a report carried in The Tribune on April 2, the state education department has cancelled transfer orders of 20 teachers out of 22. The teachers were transferred to Government Adarsh Primary School, Canal Colony, Bathinda.

As per the report, 22 teachers were shifted against two vacant posts and the teacher-student ratio at government schools was poor. Shiv Pal Goyal, DEO (Elementary), said, “Out of 22, the transfer orders of 20 teachers have been cancelled.” He was silent about the joining of these 20 teachers. — TNS
